Boron Carbide insert - with Flange

These quality Boron carbide liners / inserts are designed & made with an aluminum flange to fit into sandblasting cabinet guns & suction guns that use a locking ring to fit and hold insert in place. Our Boron carbide BCI -E series inserts, feature a straight bore with tight blast pattern for spot cleaning on small parts. Boron carbide is a superior wear resisting material that works well with agressive abrasives like aluminum oxide however boron carbide is more brittle than tungsten carbide and should be handled / used with care.  Offering a longer wear life than Tungsten carbide,  ceramics or steel it is a great choice for blast cleaning set ups where insert is not subjected to impact or banging and where abrasives like aluminum oxide are being used. Availabe in mose widely used bore sizes,  ranging from 1/4" to 1/2".  All our quality products are shipped from our facility outside Chicago, Illinois.
