         Indicative Guide to Air, Power & abrasive requirements by nozzle bore size.

 


 

Please note these figures are given for comparison purposes only. Actual performance and/or results may differ depending on the type of abrasive used. This table was based on expendable media.

It is important to remember that maintaining an optimum nozzle pressure of 100 psi or more will greatly enhance your blast cleaning efficiency. For every 1 psi. below 100 psi. pressure at the nozzle you could reduce your blasting efficiency by approx. 1-1/2 %. * this is an approximation and will vary according to abrasive, nozzle and hose characteristics, together with environmental conditions such as humidity & temperature & their effect on quality of compressed air.
